What You'll Do
- Support Site and Regional HSE in focus initiatives
- Perform site assessments to ensure safety and environmental regulatory compliance
- Develop and lead safety trainings for Mars associates
- Perform risk assessments and help implement appropriate control measures
- Perform on the job safety analysis looking at ergonomics and improvement opportunities
- HSE Program Review and Gap Assessments
- Assist in technical audits of other Mars factories
Requirements
Core Qualifications
- Preferred degree in environmental, health, and safety / occupational health and safety
- Eligible candidates will intern the summer prior to their final graduation date.
- Open to students legally authorized to work in the U.S., without the need for current or future work status authorization or visa sponsorship for employment.
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of drug & background screening.
- Eligible candidates will be responsible for personal transportation to and from work site during duration of the internship program.
