The Opportunity
Simon-Kucher is hiring a Global Senior ESG Manager – Engagement & Partnerships (m/f/d) to strengthen its global ESG engagement ecosystem. The role focuses on employee engagement, social impact, strategic partnerships, pro-bono initiatives, ESG events, and impact measurement across the firm's international operations.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and further develop the global ESG engagement ecosystem, including the international ESG Captains network.
- Coordinate local ESG initiatives, volunteering activities, donations, and social impact programs with the firm's ESG strategy.
- Own and develop the global pro-bono portfolio, including partner management, project governance, impact measurement, and reporting.
- Build strategic relationships with nonprofits, social enterprises, foundations, and other impact-focused organizations.
- Design and implement global employee engagement initiatives that strengthen ESG awareness and participation.
- Lead global ESG events and campaigns, including the annual Impact Week.
- Define and track engagement and social impact KPIs and evaluate program outcomes.
- Contribute program data, impact assessments, and stakeholder insights to annual ESG reporting.
- Independently manage strategic ESG projects from planning through implementation and impact assessment.
Requirements
Core Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; a master's degree in Sustainability, ESG, Corporate Responsibility, Public Policy, or a related field is preferred.
- At least 6 years of relevant professional experience in ESG, sustainability, corporate responsibility, corporate citizenship, or social impact.
- At least 3 years of experience independently managing global or multi-country ESG programs, stakeholder networks, engagement initiatives, or social impact activities.
Technical Expertise
- Strong understanding of ESG principles, social impact frameworks, and sustainability reporting and measurement.
- Experience working with nonprofits, foundations, social enterprises, or other impact-focused partners.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
- Strong stakeholder management experience across functions, geographies, and organizational levels.
