About Kraft Heinz

Kraft Heinz is a global food and beverage company behind some of the world's most recognized and beloved brands. The company is focused on growing its business while advancing sustainability, innovation, and responsible sourcing across its global operations and supply chains.

Kraft Heinz is seeking an experienced sustainability leader to drive its global approach to agricultural Scope 3 emissions reduction.

The Opportunity

As Senior Manager, Global Sustainability, Scope 3, you will serve as the company's subject matter expert on agriculture decarbonization, with responsibility for shaping and managing the global strategy to reduce Scope 3 emissions across agricultural supply chains.

Agriculture represents the largest lever within Kraft Heinz's climate strategy. In this role, you will work closely with climate, nature risk, procurement, R&D, data, controllership, and regional teams to accelerate emissions reductions while strengthening supply chain resilience.

You will operate at the intersection of climate strategy, sustainable agriculture, procurement, supplier engagement, data, and business transformation, influencing global programs with organization-wide impact.

What You'll Do

Lead the Global Agriculture Decarbonization Strategy

Define the strategic direction, frameworks, and interventions required to support Kraft Heinz's global Science Based Targets.

You will conduct portfolio assessments, trade-off analyses, and risk evaluations to help future-proof agricultural sourcing and identify high-impact opportunities for emissions reduction.

Enable Regional Execution

Serve as the primary strategic partner to regional and zone sustainability teams.

Although regional teams will own on-the-ground execution, you will develop the methodologies, toolkits, standard operating procedures, and technical guidance required to scale initiatives such as regenerative agriculture, low-carbon fertilizer pilots, and methane reduction programs.

Drive Cross-Functional Governance

Lead program deployment and change management across regions.

You will establish corporate governance processes, facilitate steering committees, and implement effective ways of working that maintain alignment between global climate commitments and regional execution.

Partner With Procurement and Suppliers

Work closely with Global Procurement to integrate climate objectives into supplier selection, Supplier Guiding Principles, commercial terms, and supplier engagement.

You will help build supplier capabilities and develop opportunities for joint value creation through upstream carbon reduction.

Strengthen Data and Sustainability Reporting

Collaborate with data, R&D, and controllership teams to improve the accuracy, completeness, and auditability of primary emissions data from agricultural supply chains.

Your work will support voluntary and regulatory sustainability disclosures, including CSRD, CDP, and corporate sustainability reporting, while tracking progress toward Kraft Heinz's Net Zero ambitions.

Lead External Sustainability Engagement

Represent Kraft Heinz in high-impact sustainability initiatives, industry coalitions, and multi-stakeholder platforms.

You will monitor developments across climate legislation, NGOs, competitors, scientific methodologies, and emerging sustainability solutions, bringing relevant insights and innovations back into the business.

Why This Role Matters
