The Opportunity
DÔEN is seeking an Impact & Responsible Sourcing Manager to support the execution of its responsible sourcing, social compliance, supply chain risk, regulatory readiness, and traceability programs.
Reporting to the Vice President of Impact & Responsible Sourcing, the successful candidate will help maintain the systems, data, and processes DÔEN uses to identify and manage risks throughout its global value chain.
The role places particular emphasis on social compliance, human rights, supply chain risk, regulatory readiness, and public policy, while also supporting supply chain traceability initiatives.
This is an opportunity for an experienced sustainability, ESG, responsible sourcing, human rights, or supply chain professional to contribute to a growing function within the global apparel industry.
What You'll Do
Social Compliance, Human Rights & Supply Chain Risk
Support the day-to-day management of DÔEN's social compliance and human rights due diligence program across its global supply chain.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining social compliance dashboards and supplier risk data.
- Reviewing factory audits and identifying non-compliance and elevated risks.
- Tracking Corrective Action Plans from identification through closure.
- Monitoring suppliers, sourcing regions, and sub-tier suppliers for emerging risks.
- Supporting enhanced due diligence for high-risk suppliers, regions, materials, and production processes.
- Maintaining supplier risk classifications and responsible sourcing KPIs.
- Analyzing supplier performance and responsible sourcing data.
- Preparing risk assessments and recurring management reports.
- Supporting supplier engagement and capability-building initiatives.
- Administering and developing Elm AI as a tool for social compliance and supply chain risk monitoring.
Regulatory Readiness & Public Policy
Monitor and analyze evolving legislation and regulatory requirements across DÔEN's operating and selling markets.
You will:
- Maintain the company's legislative and regulatory tracker.
- Monitor developments involving human rights due diligence, forced labor, supply chain transparency, sustainability claims, disclosures, product and packaging requirements, and environmental regulation.
- Research the applicability and potential business impact of emerging regulations.
- Translate complex regulatory developments into practical business recommendations.
- Support regulatory gap assessments.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain, Product, Legal, Finance, Operations, People, and Marketing teams.
- Maintain documentation and evidence supporting regulatory readiness.
- Support internal policies, SOPs, training materials, and governance tools.
- Prepare regulatory updates and risk reports for leadership.
Supply Chain Traceability
Support DÔEN's efforts to improve visibility across its global supply chain.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting supplier onboarding and data collection.
- Mapping suppliers and production processes beyond Tier 1.
- Identifying gaps in value-chain visibility.
- Validating supplier, facility, material, certification, and chain-of-custody documentation.
- Resolving missing or inconsistent traceability information.
- Supporting traceability requirements linked to forced labor due diligence, regulatory compliance, sustainability reporting, and responsible sourcing.
Reporting & Analytics
The Impact & Responsible Sourcing Manager will help maintain accurate data across responsible sourcing systems and dashboards.
The role will involve developing recurring reports covering social compliance, human rights, regulatory readiness, traceability, supplier performance, and emerging risks.
You will also help identify trends, gaps, and risk indicators and translate complex information into clear insights for senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
Cross-Functional & Supplier Collaboration
You will serve as a day-to-day contact for suppliers regarding social compliance documentation, Corrective Action Plans, traceability requests, and other responsible sourcing requirements.
The role requires close collaboration with Supply Chain, Product, Production, Legal, Operations, Finance, Marketing, and other internal stakeholders.
You will also help translate responsible sourcing requirements into practical actions and escalate material risks, recurring non-compliance, and unresolved issues when management intervention is required.
Requirements
Core Qualifications
- 4-6+ years of relevant professional experience.
- Experience independently managing workstreams and communicating risks and recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders.
- Experience with social compliance programs, factory audits, corrective action management, or human rights due diligence is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with forced labor risks and international labor standards.
- Understanding of responsible sourcing frameworks and global supply chains.
- Experience researching legislation, public policy, regulatory requirements, or corporate compliance obligations is strongly preferred.
Technical Expertise
- Strong analytical and research capabilities.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
- Experience working with complex datasets, trackers, dashboards, and reporting systems.
- Ability to identify trends, gaps, and emerging risk indicators.
- Supply chain traceability, supplier mapping, sustainability data, or traceability technology experience is an advantage.
Industry Experience
Experience in apparel, fashion, consumer products, retail, or another global supply-chain-driven industry is preferred.
