The Opportunity
DCarbon is hiring an ESG Manager to support the continued growth of its sustainability and climate change team. The role will involve delivering ESG and sustainability engagements for clients while contributing to the development of sustainability strategies, assessments, reporting, and impact-focused programmes.
The successful candidate will bring strong knowledge of international sustainability standards and frameworks, combined with consulting, analytical, project management, and client engagement experience.
What You'll Do
ESG & Sustainability Consulting
- Develop sustainability reports and strategies for clients.
- Deliver ESG assessments and sustainability impact assessments.
- Support CSR strategy, materiality assessments, social value, and community engagement initiatives.
- Apply international sustainability frameworks and standards to client engagements.
- Support programmes addressing climate change and broader sustainability challenges.

Programme & Client Management

Requirements
Core Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- Master's degree is an advantage.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in sustainability project management, climate change, environmental services, or related fields.
- Demonstrated experience delivering sustainability projects as a client-facing consultant.
Technical Expertise
- Strong knowledge of global ESG and sustainability standards.
- Experience developing sustainability reports and strategies.
- Familiarity with ESRS, IFRS S1 and S2, SFDR, and CSRD.
- Knowledge of sustainability measurement, assessment tools, and methodologies.
- Understanding of the UN Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDGs 7, 13, 14 and 15.
- Experience with ESG assessments, sustainability impact assessments, materiality, CSR strategy, and community engagement is valuable.
