CHANEL is seeking a Senior Manager, Health & Safety to strengthen health and safety practices across North Asia and Southeast Asia. The role will support the development of safe, healthy and resilient workplaces while helping markets build stronger prevention, emergency preparedness, wellbeing and risk-management capabilities.
Reporting to the Head of Health & Safety, North Asia & SEAA, the successful candidate will translate regional H&S priorities into practical frameworks, tools, routines and standards that enable markets and functions to operate with confidence and consistency.

The successful candidate will help strengthen CHANEL's emergency preparedness, H&S governance, employee engagement, wellbeing programmes, regulatory reporting and market capability across a diverse regional environment.
What You'll Do
Emergency Preparedness & Crisis Readiness
Develop, implement and continuously improve CHANEL's regional emergency preparedness framework. This includes response plans, crisis and incident readiness routines, simulations, exercises, communication protocols, training and readiness KPIs across markets.
Health & Safety Culture
Drive a stronger H&S culture through targeted communication, employee engagement, leadership routines, safety moments and recognition of good practices.
Health, Wellbeing & Shared Responsibility
Partner with Rewards, People & Culture and market teams on health, wellbeing and return-to-work priorities while ensuring alignment with business objectives and local requirements.
Governance, Reporting & Insights
Strengthen regional H&S governance through consistent standards, reporting processes, risk escalation and follow-up actions. Use dashboards, KPIs and performance insights to identify trends and support continuous improvement.
Capability Building & Market Enablement
Build H&S capability across markets and functions through expert guidance, coaching, practical tools and training. Own the H&S learning matrix and training programme to identify capability gaps and strengthen competency across markets.
Regional Projects & Stakeholder Partnership
Lead regional H&S initiatives from planning through implementation, defining project scope, timelines, stakeholder responsibilities, progress tracking and follow-up actions.
Regulatory Metrics & Continuous Improvement
Manage and continuously improve regional H&S regulatory reporting metrics, including CSRD-related requirements, benchmarking and audit-ready evidence to support compliance and continuous improvement.
Hong Kong & Macau Advisory
Provide focused technical H&S advisory support to Hong Kong and Macau while ensuring local activities remain connected to broader regional H&S priorities and standards.
Requirements
Core Qualifications
A degree or higher qualification in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Health, Engineering, Science, Risk Management, Facilities Management or a related discipline.
Deep occupational health and safety experience, preferably within corporate, retail, distribution centre, facilities or similarly complex environments.
Regional or multi-market H&S experience is highly valuable.
Professional Certifications
Professional H&S certification or accreditation such as BCSP, NEBOSH, IOSH, Hong Kong Registered Safety Officer, ISO 45001 or ISO 45001 Lead Auditor would be an advantage.
Technical Expertise
Strong knowledge of emergency preparedness, incident response, crisis readiness, simulations, exercises, H&S management systems, risk management, ISO 45001 principles, health and wellbeing programmes and return-to-work practices.
Experience with KPI tracking, dashboards, benchmarking, regulatory reporting and audit-ready documentation.
Professional Strengths
Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to coordinate regional initiatives across multiple markets and functions.
Excellent written and spoken English is required. Cantonese and/or Mandarin would be an advantage for engagement with Hong Kong and North Asia markets.
