This role supports the organization's Climate × Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (Climate × SRHR) initiative.
The Opportunity
This is a research role for people who enjoy working where climate, public health, and social impact intersect.
You'll contribute to projects that explore how climate resilience influences sexual and reproductive health outcomes, while supporting research activities that inform evidence-based solutions.
The position combines literature reviews, stakeholder engagement, research writing, data analysis, and knowledge translation.
Because the role is fully remote and project based, it offers flexibility while providing direct exposure to international climate and public health research.
What You'll Do
Desk Research & Evidence Reviews
Conduct literature reviews and policy analyses
Prepare evidence summaries
Manage citations and maintain a shared research library
Support the development of high quality research outputs
Stakeholder Engagement
Prepare meeting materials and documentation
Take notes during stakeholder meetings
Maintain stakeholder databases
Support the coordination of research convenings and collaborative activities
Data Analysis
Support quantitative and qualitative analysis activities
Apply research methods appropriate to project needs
Organize and interpret research findings
Contribute to evidence-based decision making
Research Publications
Draft and review research papers and publications
Support proposal development and technical reviews
Proofread and format reports and written materials
Ensure publications meet quality standards
Knowledge Translation & Dissemination
Develop presentation decks, reports, and evidence briefs
Create dissemination materials for different audiences
Fact-check external materials
Maintain quality assurance throughout the publication process
Requirements
Core Qualifications
Graduate-level training in public health, social science, or a related field is preferred
Equivalent professional experience will also be considered
Experience conducting research and producing written outputs
Application materials must include a resume, cover letter, and writing sample
Technical Expertise
Strong research and analytical skills
Experience conducting literature reviews and policy analysis
Knowledge of citation management and evidence synthesis
Experience with quantitative or qualitative data analysis methods
Experience with data analysis software is considered an advantage
