The Opportunity
This role is designed for operators who can turn ESG from narrative into infrastructure.
As an ESG Manager, you will lead complex advisory engagements end-to-end, guiding clients from ambition through execution. You will shape ESG strategies, build governance systems, drive reporting frameworks, and ensure that sustainability commitments translate into real, auditable outcomes.
This is not theoretical ESG. This is implementation at scale across one of the world’s most ambitious development ecosystems.
What You’ll Do
ESG Strategy & Advisory
Lead development of ESG strategies, governance frameworks, and implementation roadmaps
Conduct ESG assessments, benchmarking, and gap analyses
Align client ESG priorities with regulatory requirements and global best practices
Advise senior stakeholders on ESG risks, opportunities, and disclosure expectations
Materiality Assessments
Lead single and double materiality assessments across diverse client portfolios
Facilitate stakeholder engagement and topic prioritization
Analyze ESG impacts, risks, dependencies, and financial implications
Align outputs with frameworks such as GRI, CSRD/ESRS, and IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards (ISSB)
ESG Implementation
Design governance structures, KPI frameworks, and accountability models
Establish ESG policies, reporting workflows, and performance tracking systems
Monitor ESG performance and identify optimization opportunities
Embed ESG principles into core business operations and decision-making
Sustainability Reporting & Disclosures
Lead development of sustainability reports and disclosure frameworks
Align reporting with GRI, SASB, TCFD, and IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards
Establish ESG data governance, validation, and reporting systems
Coordinate cross-functional data collection and disclosure processes
Climate & Sustainable Finance Advisory
Support climate risk and opportunity assessments
Contribute to TCFD-aligned and ISSB-compliant disclosures
Develop decarbonization strategies and climate transition plans
Advise on carbon management and net-zero pathways
Client Engagement & Delivery
Manage multiple consulting engagements from initiation to delivery
Lead workshops, stakeholder sessions, and executive briefings
Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated ESG solutions
Build client relationships and support business development activities
Quality Assurance & Technical Leadership
Review technical deliverables to ensure rigor and compliance
Contribute to ESG methodologies, tools, and service offerings
Stay current on ESG regulations, frameworks, and market trends
Mentor junior professionals and strengthen internal ESG capabilities
Requirements
Core Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business, Finance, Engineering, Public Policy, or related field
Master’s degree preferred
8–10 years of experience in ESG, sustainability, or advisory services
Professional Experience
Proven delivery of ESG strategy, reporting, materiality, and implementation projects
Experience managing consulting engagements and multidisciplinary teams
Strong technical writing and executive-level presentation capability
Deep knowledge of ESG frameworks, disclosures, and regulatory landscapes
Regional & Industry Expertise
Experience within Saudi Arabia or the GCC region
Familiarity with Saudi Vision 2030 and the Saudi Green Initiative
Understanding of ESG expectations for large-scale development projects
Exposure to ESG data systems, carbon accounting tools, or digital sustainability platforms preferred
Arabic language skills are an advantage
