The Opportunity
Behind every sustainability report is a complex ecosystem of data.
Energy consumption, water use, greenhouse gas emissions, waste generation, and building performance all contribute to a company's environmental footprint.
As an ESG Analyst, you will become the engine that powers Crombie's sustainability reporting infrastructure.
You will manage ESG data systems, analyze portfolio performance, support greenhouse gas accounting, coordinate disclosures, and ensure that sustainability information remains accurate, transparent, and decision ready.

What You'll Do
ESG Data, Systems & Performance Analysis
Serve as the primary administrator for the company's ESG reporting platform, Measurabl
Collect, validate, and analyze environmental data
Perform quality control reviews to ensure reporting accuracy
Conduct property and portfolio level ESG performance analysis
Identify sustainability trends, risks, and opportunities across the real estate portfolio
Track reporting limitations, estimates, and data coverage
Greenhouse Gas Inventory & Assurance
Support the preparation of annual greenhouse gas inventories
Manage Scope 1, Scope 2, and relevant Scope 3 emissions data
Maintain emissions calculations and supporting documentation
Coordinate external assurance activities
Track audit findings and support corrective actions
Maintain clear documentation supporting all reported ESG metrics
ESG Reporting & Disclosure
Prepare quarterly ESG reports for executive leadership and board members
Coordinate annual ESG reporting activities
Support reporting alignment with sustainability frameworks such as SASB
Maintain internal sustainability scorecards and performance reports
Support external ESG ratings and benchmarking submissions
Develop more efficient reporting and data visualization processes
Cross Functional Collaboration
Work closely with operations, finance, development, and human resources teams
Collaborate with communications and investor relations teams
Ensure consistency between sustainability data and corporate communications
Monitor emerging ESG regulations and reporting requirements
Support special sustainability projects across the organization
Requirements
Core Qualifications
Post secondary degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business, Economics, or a related discipline
Two to four years of experience in ESG reporting, sustainability analysis, or environmental performance management
Experience working with environmental datasets, including energy, water, waste, or greenhouse gas emissions
Real estate experience is considered an advantage
Technical Expertise
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Experience working with large and complex datasets
Experience using ESG reporting systems, particularly Measurabl
Knowledge of Power BI and other data analysis tools
Strong understanding of ESG reporting frameworks, particularly SASB
Knowledge of SBTi and GRESB frameworks is considered an asset
