THE OPPORTUNITY
This role sits at the control center.
As Senior Manager, Sustainability Reporting, you are not just managing disclosures. You are engineering the system behind them. Process, structure, alignment, and execution all converge here.
The mandate is clear. Build a reporting function that is scalable, audit-ready, and strategically aligned with enterprise priorities.
THE ROLE
You will oversee the full sustainability reporting lifecycle while shaping how the bank plans, executes, and evolves its ESG disclosures.
You will:
Lead end-to-end sustainability reporting strategy and execution.
Translate strategic objectives into structured reporting roadmaps and timelines.
Strengthen process documentation, governance, and reporting controls.
Drive continuous improvement across reporting cycles, reducing inefficiencies and enhancing quality.
Manage complex stakeholder environments across Legal, Risk, Finance, Communications, and Investor Relations.
Guide leadership through reporting decisions, trade-offs, and risks.
Oversee team performance, development, and delivery against key milestones.

WHAT THEY’RE LOOKING FOR

You likely have:
Strong experience in sustainability reporting, ESG disclosure, or corporate reporting.
Background in governance, regulatory reporting, or enterprise-level processes.
Proven ability to lead teams and develop high-performing talent.
Experience managing cross-functional initiatives with senior stakeholders.
Advanced project management and execution discipline.
Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex issues.
Strategic mindset with the ability to connect vision to execution.
Comfort operating in fast-paced, high-visibility environments.
Bonus edge:
Experience with automation, AI-enabled workflows, or reporting transformation.
Familiarity with ESG frameworks, ratings methodologies, and assurance practices.
COMPENSATION
$115,600 – $163,200 CAD
