About the Role:
The ESG & Impact Associate will support the measurement, management, and reporting of ESG performance across Ship2B Ventures’ investment portfolio.
Working closely with the Head of ESG and Impact and investment teams, you will help ensure that impact considerations are integrated throughout the investment cycle and support portfolio companies in improving their sustainability practices.
In this role, you will:
Support ESG measurement, monitoring, and reporting processes across investment funds.
Collect, analyse, and manage ESG-related data from portfolio companies.
Support impact assessment throughout the investment lifecycle.
Contribute to ESG reporting processes and regulatory requirements.
Apply frameworks related to sustainable finance and impact measurement.
Support portfolio companies in strengthening their ESG practices.
Collaborate with investment teams to integrate impact considerations into decision-making.
About You:
You are someone who combines analytical thinking with a strong interest in impact investing and sustainability.
To succeed in this role, you:
Have 1 to 3 years of experience in ESG reporting, consulting, sustainability, or related fields.
Understand ESG regulations including SFDR, EU Taxonomy, DNSH, and PAI requirements.
Have knowledge of ESG certification processes such as B Corp and 2X.
Possess strong analytical skills and attention to quantitative detail.
Have excellent communication skills in both Spanish and English.
Are proactive, curious, and motivated to learn within a fast-growing impact investment environment.
Preferred Experience:
Experience in healthcare, life sciences, or deeptech sectors.
Background in business, finance, sustainability, or data analytics.
Knowledge of impact investing frameworks such as Impact Management Project (IMP), Theory of Change, and impact measurement systems.
Understanding of gender lens investing or child-lens investing approaches.
