THE OPPORTUNITY
This is resilience as strategy, not reaction.
As Global Sustainability Director, Operations & Value Chain Resilience, you will architect how the company withstands disruption while advancing sustainability across its global value chain.
Climate risk, human rights, supply fragility, regulatory pressure. You sit at the intersection of all of it.
THE ROLE
You will define and lead enterprise-wide resilience strategy across operations and supply chains.
You will:
Design and evolve McCormick’s global resilience framework across environmental and social dimensions.
Lead integration of human rights due diligence (HRDD) across operations and value chains.
Drive alignment across Procurement, Operations, R&D, HR, and Commercial teams.
Identify risks across supply chains including labor, sourcing, and climate impacts.
Translate regulatory requirements into enterprise-wide compliance strategies.
Partner with Climate Strategy leadership to align environmental and social risk mitigation.
Build governance systems, KPIs, and accountability structures.
Represent McCormick in external forums, partnerships, and industry initiatives.
Embed resilience thinking into core business decision-making.

WHAT THEY’RE LOOKING FOR
You are a systems thinker with execution credibility.
You likely have:
10+ years in sustainability, CSR, social impact, or related fields.
Strong understanding of global supply chains and manufacturing systems.
Expertise in human rights due diligence and social risk management.
Familiarity with regulatory trends around ESG and supply chain accountability.
Experience leading enterprise initiatives across complex organizations.
Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
Ability to translate complex risks into business-relevant strategies.
Analytical depth combined with practical implementation ability.
COMPENSATION
Base salary: $121,900 – $219,410
Eligible for incentive bonus (MIB plan)
