About MANGO

MANGO is a fast-moving global fashion brand operating in over 120 countries. Behind the storefront aesthetic sits a complex supply chain, where sustainability decisions ripple across materials, water usage, chemicals, and production systems.

This role plugs directly into that engine.

The Opportunity

This is where theory meets fabric, literally.

You are not designing policy frameworks.
You are supporting the actual measurement and reduction of environmental impact, especially water.

Think:

Water footprints
Chemical usage
Supplier practices
Packaging decisions

Small inputs. Massive cumulative impact.

What You’ll Do

Water & Chemical Impact Projects

Support initiatives focused on:
Water footprint measurement
Reduction of chemical usage
Environmental impact tracking

This is hands-on sustainability, grounded in data and operations

Supply Chain Analysis

Evaluate environmental impact across the supply chain
Identify inefficiencies and improvement areas
Work with real production data, not hypothetical models

Sustainable Packaging Support

Assist in sustainable packaging projects
Help align packaging with regulatory and environmental standards

Data, Reporting & Monitoring

Track sustainability KPIs and company targets
Support reporting and diagnostics
Turn spreadsheets into insights that teams can actually use

Supplier & Stakeholder Coordination

Interface with external suppliers
Support communication and alignment on sustainability goals

What They’re Looking For

A junior operator with analytical instincts.

Core requirements:

Background in Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, or similar
1–2 years of relevant experience
Strong Excel and data analysis skills
High level of English

Soft edge:

Organized, proactive, detail-oriented
Able to work across teams
Comfortable handling multiple projects

What Makes This Role Interesting

Fashion sustainability is messy.

Water use in textiles is one of the industry’s biggest environmental pressure points. This role gives you exposure to:

Dyeing processes
Fabric treatment
Supplier ecosystems
Global compliance expectations

It is a ground-level view of how sustainability actually gets implemented, not just discussed.

Work Culture & Benefits

Flexible schedule and hybrid work
Early Friday finish
Employee discounts on MANGO products
Transport from Barcelona and Vallés
Training, mentorship, and internal mobility opportunities
International exposure across 120+ markets

Why This Role Matters

Every garment has a hidden water story.

From cotton fields to dye baths, water is the silent cost of fashion. This role contributes to reducing that footprint at scale.

Not glamorous work.
But very real impact.
