About the Role

This is a senior, high-influence role sitting at the intersection of sustainability, procurement, regulation, and packaging innovation.

As Senior Manager, Packaging Sustainability, you will lead North America’s efforts on sustainable packaging and Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR)—translating global climate commitments into real operational execution.

This is not just strategy. It is turning sustainability into supply chain reality.


What You’ll Do

Packaging Sustainability Leadership

Lead North America packaging sustainability strategy aligned with global goals
Translate high-level commitments into actionable roadmaps and execution plans
Drive initiatives that support recyclability, circularity, and net-zero targets

Supplier & Procurement Integration

Partner with procurement, R&D, and suppliers to deliver sustainable packaging solutions
Advance supplier engagement models and performance expectations
Balance cost, feasibility, and environmental impact in sourcing decisions

EPR (Extended Producer Responsibility) Execution

Lead compliance and readiness across U.S. and Canada
Monitor policy changes and translate regulations into business actions
Coordinate reporting, fee forecasting, and engagement with producer responsibility organizations

Data, Systems & Reporting

Strengthen carbon and packaging data systems across North America
Build tools to track progress, risks, and milestones
Support supplier data collection and sustainability reporting

Cross-Functional Influence

Work across Legal, Government Affairs, Finance, Operations, and Sustainability teams
Align packaging strategy with regulatory, commercial, and operational priorities
Influence senior stakeholders and drive decision-making


About You

You are a systems-level operator who can connect sustainability ambition with execution.

Strong candidates:

Have 6+ years of experience in sustainability, procurement, packaging, or supply chain

Understand EPR regulations, circular packaging, and recyclability standards

Can translate policy into supplier and business actions

Have strong program management and cross-functional leadership skills

Are an effective communicator and stakeholder influencer
