THE OPPORTUNITY
This is climate work at the systems level.
As Program Officer, you will support international climate initiatives focused on emissions accounting, MRV systems (Monitoring, Reporting, Verification), and capacity building.
The role blends technical rigor with global coordination.
THE ROLE
You will help design, implement, and manage climate programs across multiple countries and stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
Program & Project Management
Support planning and execution of international climate programs.
Manage timelines, deliverables, and coordination across global partners.
Ensure projects meet technical and operational standards.
Technical Climate Support
Contribute to greenhouse gas accounting and MRV systems.
Support development of climate tools, methodologies, and guidance.
Assist with capacity-building initiatives for institutions and governments.
Stakeholder Engagement
Coordinate with international partners, donors, and technical experts.
Represent programs in meetings, workshops, and global forums.
Support collaboration across diverse stakeholders.
Research & Implementation
Assist in developing practical solutions for emissions reduction and transparency.
Contribute to reports, tools, and program outputs.
