As Senior Associate Director within the Global Energy Transition Initiative, you will orchestrate a complex, multi-region effort to strengthen renewable energy and storage industry associations across emerging markets.

What You’ll Do
Global Strategy & Coordination
Lead multi-stakeholder workstreams across Africa, Asia, Latin America, and selective European marketsContinuously refine the Renewable Energy & Storage Industry Association Strategy
Ensure alignment between regional execution and global objectives
Program Leadership & Delivery
Oversee execution of the solar and storage association initiative end-to-endCoordinate across internal teams, external partners, and coalition stakeholders
Drive quality, timelines, and strategic coherence across all deliverables
Funder Engagement & Influence1
Support the Global Head of GETI in managing high-level funder relationshipsPrepare briefings, reports, and strategic communications
Translate complex program updates into clear, compelling narratives
Convenings & Communications
Lead global and regional convenings that shape industry directionDevelop policy-facing and stakeholder-facing materials
Align communications strategy with broader climate and energy agendas
Impact, Learning & Systems Building
Define and track KPIs across global initiativesBuild knowledge systems and repositories for shared learning

About You
You are a systems thinker with execution discipline.
You understand that climate progress is not just technical. It is institutional, political, and deeply human.
To succeed, you:
Bring 15+ years of experience, including 7+ years in leadership roles
Have deep experience in complex, international, multi-stakeholder environments
Understand clean energy ecosystems, policy, or industry associations
Excel in strategic planning, program execution, and stakeholder alignment
Are relationship-driven, with strong judgment and communication skills
Operate effectively across geographies, cultures, and time zones
