2050Today is the Geneva Climate Action Forum, bringing together over 60 institutions across International Geneva including permanent missions, international organizations, academia, private sector, and civil society.

The initiative focuses on measurable climate action, supporting members to track emissions and implement solutions across key areas such as food, biodiversity, energy, waste, mobility, and sustainable IT.


About the Role:

This is coordination at the center of climate action.

As Climate Action Project Officer, you will act as a junior project manager, orchestrating thematic groups and ensuring climate initiatives move from discussion to implementation.

In this role, you will:

Coordinate and facilitate thematic groups across multiple climate action areas.

Organise and manage events, including logistics, registrations, venues, and equipment.

Prepare agendas, facilitate sessions, and document outcomes through meeting minutes.

Act as a liaison between members, partners, and stakeholders.

Support implementation of climate initiatives within member organizations.

Contribute to funding applications and support collective climate projects.

Develop communication materials to promote events and initiatives.

Represent 2050Today in interactions with partners and external stakeholders.

Support additional projects such as digital platforms, training modules, and awards.


About You:

You are structured, proactive, and comfortable managing moving parts.

You understand that climate action requires coordination as much as ambition.

To succeed in this role, you:

Hold a Swiss Matura with project management training, or equivalent qualification/experience.

Have experience or exposure to climate action or sustainable development (advantage).

Are fluent in French and English (minimum C1 level).

Possess strong organisational and project management skills.

Have experience with website management (WordPress) and/or social media.

Bring communication or graphic design skills (a plus).

Are adaptable and willing to support a variety of tasks in a dynamic environment.
