1. Shape Global Climate Standards
- Represent Apple in global standards bodies like ISO, IEC, SBTi, and GHG Protocol
- Participate in technical debates that define how emissions are measured and reported
- Influence methodologies used across industries worldwide
2. Develop Technical Positions
- Build Apple’s positions on:
- carbon accounting
- science-based targets
- climate disclosures
- Analyze proposed changes to standards and assess business impact
3. Track the Regulatory & Standards Landscape
- Monitor emerging standards, working groups, and consultation periods
- Identify where Apple must engage early to influence outcomes
- Stay ahead of regulatory shifts, not react to them
4. Translate Complexity into Action
- Act as the internal authority on climate standards
- Translate complex technical rules into clear business guidance
- Align engineering, operations, and leadership around implementation
