About the Role:
Danish Crown is looking for a Sustainability Manager to take ownership of carbon accounting and Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) execution across the business.
This is not a surface-level sustainability role. It sits where data, governance, and climate strategy collide. You will be responsible for translating emissions data into real operational change, ensuring that sustainability is not just reported, but delivered.
You will work within the ESG and Sustainability team, supporting both compliance and strategy while helping business units move from ambition to measurable climate impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage end-to-end climate accounting processes
Own and drive the SBTi commitment and roadmap
Coordinate and manage the SBTi steering committee
Support business units with emissions data, insights, and reduction strategies
Prepare decision-making materials for senior leadership
Ensure accurate climate data for sustainability and annual reporting
Maintain strong ESG data governance, quality, and documentation
Monitor and implement climate regulations and standards such as ESRS E1
Contribute to long-term decarbonization strategies and roadmaps
Requirements:
Master’s degree in environmental science, engineering, or related field
Minimum 5 years experience in GHG Protocol carbon accounting
Proven experience with SBTi and decarbonization strategies
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Ability to engage with senior leadership and influence decisions
Fluent in English
