About the Role:
Google is hiring a Program Manager focused on environmental metrics, sustainability accounting, and performance systems within its global operations.
This role sits at the core of how Google measures and manages its environmental impact across infrastructure, operations, and supply chains.
You are not just reporting sustainability. You are building the systems that define what gets measured in the first place.
This includes emissions tracking, performance modeling, and sustainability data governance across large-scale operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead environmental metrics and sustainability accounting programs
- Develop and manage large-scale ESG data systems
- Support emissions tracking, reporting, and auditing frameworks
- Work across teams to improve sustainability performance measurement
- Translate environmental data into strategic insights for leadership
- Support implementation of sustainability standards and methodologies
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and policy teams
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Strong background in program or project management
- Experience with environmental metrics, ESG reporting, or sustainability systems
- Understanding of emissions accounting and sustainability frameworks
- Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work across technical and non-technical teams
